Code of conduct

Friendly, kind, respectful.

How we look after each other at meet-ups, in the forum and online.

Make everyone welcome

Say hello to new faces and bring people into the conversation, especially anyone who's come on their own. Every craft and every level of experience is equally part of the group.

Be kind and supportive

Encourage each other, give feedback kindly and only when it's wanted, and celebrate each other's work.

Respect each other

Respect people's views, space and boundaries. Always ask before taking someone's photo or filming them, and before sharing images of other members online.

Keep it safe

Harassment, discrimination, unwanted attention and aggressive behaviour are not tolerated, at meet-ups, in the forum or in private messages. That includes comments about anyone's age, background, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, faith or disability.

Collaborate fairly

If you work on something together, agree up front who does what and how the work will be credited and used.

If something's wrong

Talk to the host on the night, or email chr1st@mac.com in confidence. Anyone who breaks this code may be asked to leave, and removed from the group and the forum.
