Who we are
Common Ground is a community meet-up group for Ealing and West London, run by Chris Thomas. For any questions about your information, email chr1st@mac.com.
What we collect
When you join the guest list: your first name, email address, what you make or are into, who you'd like to meet, your preferred times, and whether you'd like updates. If you use the members' forum: your username, a short description and the posts you write.
Why we use it
Only to run Common Ground: to tell you about meet-ups, help members connect, and, if you ask for them, send occasional updates. We rely on your consent, which you give when you sign up.
Who sees it
Your guest list details are seen only by the organiser. Forum posts and usernames are visible to other members. We never sell your information or share it with advertisers. It is stored with the service providers that host the website and forum.
How long we keep it
For as long as you're part of Common Ground. If you ask us to remove you, or the group stops running, we delete your details.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing chr1st@mac.com. If you're unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Photos
We only share photos from meet-ups with the permission of the people in them. If you'd rather not be photographed, just say, and we'll make sure you're not.
